Starting with the pilot episode of HGTV’s Building ROOTs, I contributed to the design and execution of a series of mountain getaway homes in Pagosa Springs, Colorado. The show centers on ROOT Design’s family, coffee shop, and design practice, with each project grounded in a sense of place. Drawing on local, authentic materials and a consistently warm, inviting palette, each home tells a unique story while staying true to the family’s roots.
